Hello. :) I don't actually need any help, I just had a fun question for Paragon warlocks. Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask, but I couldn't find a more suitable thread/forum.
Something that has always attracted me to the Warlock class is the busy play-style (in comparison to many other classes) and the amount of active planning and execution of play it demands, especially with Demonology. Because of this, I've always felt that the 4.0 Demonologist was perfect. In my opinion, the old Improved Soul Fire (the haste buff) seemed to flow very well with Demonology, especially during Demon Soul: Felguard. How did you feel about that mechanic? Do you miss ISF? Or are you glad that it is no longer a part of the spec?
I've been thinking that it would be nice if the haste ISF was reintroduced to Demonology, perhaps in place of Decimation, with Decimation relocated to where ISF used to be. Demonology would retain its execute, but it would also be open to Destruction, while remaining completely useless to Affliction. Of course, the mastery buff to Demonology would have to be reverted, and the current 8% damage buff from ISF worked into Destruction's mastery or spells. How would you feel about a change like that? Or about the reintroduction of ISF to Demonology in general?
ISF and Demonology (srsly)
