Hello! Can i get some tips for improving my dps on sinestra as i can't seem to get in top 200dps wol (close but not there)....considering that we're progressing on it...

here is my armory : http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/s ... ock/simple
here is my wol : http://www.worldoflogs.com/guilds/30061/

We prepot and start with hero at p1....and at p3 right before the buff comes up i pop demonsoul, potion and doomguard(to get the 100% buff rather than the 30% from hero). I use the normal rotation and priority system rotation haunt->BoA->Corr->UA (shadowbolt filler) and the ocasional felflame proc...

Should i use bane of agony glyph instead of UA(0.2sec reduction)...? i use BoA as it's a multi-target changing fight.

Thanks in advance!

Without actually checking wol top 200, i would guess most of them whore damage from the whelps. I wouldn't worry about it much if your tactic doesn't require you to damage them and you are not in the top because of that. Also having a good raid DPS might have a huge effect on your overall DPS. Currently on our kills we have bloodlust and the P3 buff on at the same time during at least part of the <25% hp phase. The drain soul ticks are pretty ridiculous =)

Hehe ...i can just imagine those ticks :P ... on the whelps part yeah...that's true...with the 100% buff + infinite mana....when the OT who's tanking the whelps asks for us ranged to go on them....you can imagine that SoC (which is preety much a hardburner of mana if i can say it like that) becomes OP.

Also i have a quick question : i've noticed many warlocks who aren't hit-capped and go for insane reforging into haste (going even down to 15.6% hit). What's the reason behind that? Does haste become such an important factor that overcomes hit-capping?

You get an extra tick of corruption and immolate at 2437(goblin) / 2589 haste which seems to be a DPS increase over being at hit cap at least on simulations. And there simply doesn't seem to be any gear combination where you can attain that much haste while being at hit cap so you have to sacrifice hit to get to those numbers. It might not even be worthwhile for a non-goblin warlock but I'm not really sure about that.

This orc lock is a constant top10 dps on all fights....that's what made my wonder...cause as a non-goblin is preety hard to reach that damn 2.6k haste rating

His itemization get over you by almost 400int and MUCH more haste.

That should be why he's getting so much benefit at his haste level sacrificing about 140hit points.
