Aff DL, Shadow embrace on V&T

Hello there,

well the topic is pretty self explanatory, how do you manage shadow embrace stacks on V&T with Affliction drain, is it worth to hard cast shadow bolt on secondary target? or just wait for nightfall proc and hope for the best? a small price to pay for the extra survivability?

You don't, that's why the mana feed spec sucks big fat dick and I wouldn't use it anywhere else except at chimaeron or some survival fight. I really wouldn't count on nightfall procs. Besides you can still use dl filler with the bane spec if you get so much mastery that it becomes better, If i'll go affli again I'd definitely use bane spec with mix of haste/mastery gear. Mana feed isn't really that hot in practical situations. You have time for life tapping during movement even while refreshing dots.

Or can you show me some simulations/informations about it. Actually I use Mana Feed specc, but after your answer I'm a bit confused :D I understand Bane specc is more usable in most fights. But I would like to use DL filler anyway, but... how much mastery I need? ;d
