Hey there. Looking at diivils and Mannis armory, you are both going with a Drain Life filler. I'm having a hard time choosing which to use. Would be nice if you could give me a reason for why you are going with it. Heard it's harder doing more dps with it because of latency effects.
Also, since the recent nerf of Soul Swap, it takes you around 17-18 sec to apply dots to a new target, which most of the time means that both UA and Corruption will have fallen off. Is it better to roll a Bane of Doom on one target, and manually refreshing dots on the other? (with BoA)
Example of fight: Valiona and Theralion.
Thanks in advance!

I'm also wondering about this. Even though simulation shows drain life profile having slightly higher dps, in practice it is rather latency dependent.
Another concern is keeping up shadow embrace, especially in dual target fights (V&T) or multi target fights (Halfus). With SB filler, I usually throw in alternating SB and focus SB to keep up shadow embrace. Clearly with drain life filler that would not be possible.
I'd like to know what paragon locks think about this. Thanks in advance.

I went for DL filler out of interest and while I appreciate the problems the style might involve, I feel like it might have some potential in future raids due to the (obvious) decent self-healing properties. I however didn't get to actually raid with it yet so I reserve further judgement until later.
