Hi manni,
I was just seeking some advice on the cho'gall fight. My guild is working on him and were getting him close now at constant <50% attempts. But the problem were running into is getting too much of the blood debuff where the adds are not getting aoe'd down fast enough to where some get more stacks. I see that most of the locks that are working on cho'gall are using demo.

In your opinion is this more viable for the aoe part, as I have been doing afflic thinking that Jinx with the burned seed for the corruption dot would help more. Also with being in Demo i know that right now the imp is the better dps increase but thinking having the felguard out for his aoe blade storm would be better suitable for the fight as well??

Just seeking some advice to better help on my part.

You didn't say if you're running 25 or 10, but you should consider the raid buffs you'd bring in either spec. If you don't have another lock or assas rogue or uh dk to put up the 8% magic damage taken on everything, you should probably stay affli. But if that is set and if especially if you don't have the 10% spell power aura you should go demo. Imp is indeed the recommended single-target pet now but Felguard will be much more useful for Cho.

You mentioned your raid gets high on Corrupted Blood from the adds, which means you should be more careful with them. The adds don't melee for much but they fill up your bar in just a few swings so you should avoid being hit by them at all cost. You should make use of frost traps and earthbind totems and such to give you time to dps them as well as moonkin knockbacks if you have any available. And if and when the adds reach you, you shouldn't feel like you're being rooted to a spot but keep running. You can put up glyph of shadowflame which will help a lot if your raid have problems with slowing the adds.
