Resto Druid and Lich King Heroic

hi, thnx to anyone that is going to read this. i saw you only took 4 healers to LK 25 HC and none of them were resto druid, i can see from mechanics that we arent as usefull as we would like in this fight. does this mean (since videos of lk 10 heroic tend to use holy pally + disc priest) that we cant contribute to this fight and it would be better to take a dps instead? also, for a progress kill would i be better to be benched or could i compete with healing of an other class such as resto shammy for a spot?

We use 5 healers on the fight because of the strict dps requirement. Resto druids are the least optimal healer for the fight, so it makes sense to take other healers instead.

Now that the buff is 15%, you're probably not failing on simple healing throughput. A tree is never going to be the best healer choice for the fight, but it's certainly doable. I reckon the choice for the 5th healer isn't your biggest concern - take whoever plays the best for the 'free' healer slot.
