Balance DoT refreshing

Hello.

There is something i don`t understand about balance mechanics,and dunno if i`m doing it wrong or not.
So here is it.
Should i refresh moonfire as soon as i enter lunar eclipse,and just before energy reaches 0 should i refresh it again?
Samee thing for solar..should i refresh sunfire when i enter and exit solar eclipse?
I`m asking this because i don`t know if once u refreshed u`re moonfire just before exiting lunar eclips,once u`re out u`re dot still benefits from mastery.And if it does,is it worth the GCD everytime?

Some help would really be appreciated.

Its all Situational, When I'm refreshing my dots, I decide whether I'm going to make it to the next eclipse before the dot falls off, If I can I wont refresh it as I'm coming out of an Eclipse, but if its about to tick off in solar and u dont have enough time to get to lunar before the dot falls off I'd say refresh it so it does gain the benefit from the eclipse.

you speak of MF/SF as if you only refresh that dot and not IS just to make sure you refresh both, preferably before thy expire or within 2-3 cast if near an eclipse once you go over 0 energy you ofc lose the eclipse buff and therefor the benefit of increased arcane/nature dmg. its adviced you only dot with the benefit of eclipse.

Just make sure you start with Insect Swarm, then Moonfire when you enter Lunar Eclipse, else it won't benefit your mastery as the Wrath needs time to hit and trigger Lunar.

main reason you should do IS before MF in a new eclipse(either) is cause MF/SF benefits more of NG(15% haste) then IS
