What does more damage?!

Ok, so i havent played feral kitty in a very long time and im wondering, does feral kitty does more damage than balance druid or what? cause i went into a firelands 3 days ago and this feral kitty was out dpsing everyone and his gear was mostly 378s. even out dpsd the arcane mage we had :/ so im not sure wether to go back to kitty or stay balance :/
