Question about Revitalizing Skyflare Diamond

I was just wondering why Arx is using this, i see how it might be decent since it requires 2 red gems, instead of 1blue/1yellow. But aren't the Cataclysm metas better than LK, even if the LK one requires 2 red gems?

You presumably have a +10 int blue socket in your gear, which means you gain 10 int and lose 52 spirit with the WotLK metagem. It's a questionable tradeoff, but I really don't need any more mana for this content at my gear level, so it's probably worth it.

It remains to be seen if it's still worth it when 4.3 comes.
