Question for Moonkins

Whichever one of you. ;)
Assuming no movement when should I not re-dot and wait for eclipse? A couple people I've seen only dot after an eclipse and others say to not let them drop.

Heh I did read that, I guess that answer is when it's only 1-2 casts hold off.
