I would like to know whats better to do in my rotation while waiting for chimera shot to come up Im using 4x steady shot and then Im waiting like 0.3-0.7 sec till its up (depends on haste proccs). Is it worth waiting or its better to cast another steady shot so " i am always casting"
Another thing are haste cooldowns some people said its better to use them seperately so my steady shots are always at 1.5sec but still if its 1.5sec or 1.7 sec it doesnt matter as i won't be able to cast 5th steady shot since of the GCD being 1.5sec always so it seems like dps loss since I could just stack all those CDs for insanely fast Auto Shots

Please tell me your point of view about this.
Thanks

It depends largely on gear, with high end gear it can be worth waiting for nearly up to a full second. You don't lose a lot of dps doing that extra Steady Shot though, so it also depends on how much you can stare at your timers - it's generally better to not fail to play the boss strategy properly than get the absolutely best possible rotation ever out...

Let's compare, here's the rotation up to 4 steadys cast at 1.5sec cast time:

0.0 chimera
1.5 aimed
3.0 steady start
4.5 steady end
4.5 steady start
6.0 steady end
6.0 steady start
7.5 steady end
7.5 steady start
9.0 steady end

Now you either idle for a full second until Chimera Shot comes off cooldown, or fire another Steady Shot, which may or may not be a win depending on your gear.

On the other hand, with 1.7sec Steady Shot cast we get:

0.0 chimera
1.5 aimed
3.0 steady start
4.7 steady end
4.7 steady start
6.4 steady end
6.4 steady start
8.1 steady end
8.1 steady start
9.6 steady end

And you definitely don't have time for another Steady Shot.

Now, the other part of the issue is, what do you actually gain from "insanely fast auto shots over a short time" compared to "fast auto shots over a longer period". Being lazy I leave that for you to figure out... :P

(Yes, there are reasons why there might sometimes be something to gain.)
