hi kruf

im mm hunter, just switched to all arp from agi.
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-shee ... an&n=minzy

now im under 1200, and doesnt seem to be getting the dbw any time soon, due to lovely dkp issues.

i was wondering if i should switch back to agi? even just for little dps gain.

is there any other way for me to improve dps besides switch engineering to blacksmith?

thanks in advance.

Hey,

I know my gear isn't that good, but I would like to know if I should use Agi or ArP gems.

Thanks in advance.

Hey,

I got a short question for you guys.
My gear starts getting pretty good lately ( http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet ... =Kerbaroth ) and while I'm still waiting for the Oathbinder or Heroic Heisr's to drop, because I want to reach that magical ArP Hardcap everybody seems crazy about, I picked up the the 277 Distant Land last night to prevent it from being disenchanted.

And now I'm actually pretty confused. I checked back with femaledwarf and Shandarahs Spreadsheet and both of the spreadsheets seem to value the Heroic Distant Land above the 271 version of the Oathbinder which would kick me up to the ArP cap instead of remaining ~80 points below it.
So what's the deal here? I realize that a 277 weapon has more item budget on it than a 271 weapon, however 6 Itemlevels aren't that many.
I always believed in that ArP > all philosophy and now it doesn't seem to be true for me.

Any one can lighten me up please?

@ Tomsawyer: I guess Glyph of Chimera Shot is a Dps increase on fights where you need to switch targets a lot, so it is easier to maintain the Sting on your main target. For example I really liked it for Valkyrs on LK or Deathwhisper Hard, also may be very useful on Putricide Hard which we started to try tonight. My Chimera often hit 0.x seconds too late after switching back on him, so I had to spend another GCD for reapplying.

You can't always trust the spreadsheet, it greatly overvalues haste and H-Distand Land has a lot of that, and Oathbinder would almost certainly be a bigger dps increase in a real raid. Also make sure you're changing your latency, fight length, and time in kill shot range when you use the spreadsheet, in a good guild a fight like festergut should last around 3.5 minutes with approx. 36 seconds in Kill Shot range.

Ok, changing fight lengths indeed shrunk the difference a lot.
But in terms of haste I'm not sure if it's really overvalued. Afaik faster Autoshots cause 2pt10 to proc more often what made it at least more interesting than in the last couple of tears.

"Haste in general is hard to model accurately as it has somewhat of a stairstep effect (you don't really see significant gain till you gain an extra shot from it, then it shoots up in value), not to mention that in a movement fight you're going to lose some shots affected by haste which reduces its value. So any automated tool will generally overvalue haste and you should take those values with a grain of salt. Settings such as latency, wait time and your current haste values will factor into whether you hit these kind of haste ruts as well."

Also I'm speaking from experience when I say that Oathbinder is a dps increase over H-Distand Land. I had H-Distant Land but when I got Oathbinder, I was able to hard cap ArP with an ArP elixir + food buff and I saw a significant dps increase on every fight in ICC (11/12 HM).

Hi there, i got 1 addon for the t10 proc its called Damaging plus or something like this.
Its very simple - show me the precents for my serpent sting dmg like 127% with icc buff and 150% in icc with set proc and pet .. but my question is Did the Hysteria inscrease the serpent dmg , and should i refresh it like when i see 180% serpent buff from the addon? Or its just a bug from the addon or smth.
I think hysteria with set and pet procs = pure win . or i hope.

btw this is the addon. (updated version) http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addo ... -plus.aspx

"Hysteria
30 yd range
Instant 3 min cooldown
Induces a friendly unit into a killing frenzy for 30 sec. The target is Enraged, which increases their physical damage by 20%, but causes them to lose health equal to 1% of their maximum health every second."

No, it doesn't affect Serpent Sting.
