Hello, I was wondering if you guys could give me a hand, first of all when should I start gemming Arp, should I change any gems, hows my spec, and are my glyphs good, and last fo all, am I doing enough DPS (I dont think so my self) I normally pull around 9k dps depending on luck for Festergut 25, and I will peak at 10-11k dps at start of saurfang until the adds spawn then my dps starts to spiral down. Well, thanks for your time, and heres my Armory, http://www.wowarmory.com/character-shee ... anthegreat

Let's see. No 2t10 setbonus? Major dps loss right there, the setbonus is good. What's the point of putting a crit/agi gem into a blue socket (gloves) - if you are going to socket anything except pure agi (or arp) make sure you're using it to get the best socket bonus you can.
Simulationcraft estimates about 9.9k sustained dps over a 5min standstill fight, so 9k is not that far, though there shouldn't be that much random in the numbers so you should be hitting 9k+ every time in standstill.
Here's a quick and dirty improved setup, showing 10.5k dps in simulationcraft: http://www.wowhead.com/?profile=20850521
Scaling factors (as dps increase for 1 point stat increase) for this build are:
Agi=1.7958 Int=0.8373 AP=0.7204 ArPen=2.3084 Hit=3.4653 Crit=1.5595 Haste=1.1312 Wdps=9.2019
Could be improved a lot with more arpen items, but I don't know what you have access to. See this link for list of upgrades. By far the best upgrade you could get is of course Deathbringer's Will.
PS. Note that I preferred an arp build over agi - the dps difference with this level of gear is rather minor, but makes it a lot easier to pick upgrades and you won't have to regem later when the difference becomes larger.

Thanks so much for the quick reply, I was jsut wondering if it would be benificial for me to get NES if I go with the ARP build/gems so I can get 100% arp at times, and I was wondering if I should replace my Glyph of Kill Shot with Chimera Shot.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Stay away from NES, it's complete crap. Even greatness is better in most situations... The Kill Shot vs Chimera Shot glyph choice is somewhat dependent on encounter, raid and preference. Kill Shot is more dps on paper, but if your raid has Bloodlust/Heroism during execute phase and a lot of classes with high dps in execute range it can actually be less overall dps, and the chimera glyph makes fights where you have to switch away from the main target temporarily much less irritating since it makes rolling sting on 2 targets much more comfortable. Obviously for fights where execute phase takes a very long time (Anub'arak, anyone?) and fights where last phase dps is critical (Putricide, Sindragosa) Kill Shot glyph makes a lot of sense (which is why I carry a stack of both glyphs in inventory and swap when needed).

5k dps with that gear is incredibly low, simulationcraft estimates over 10k to be possible.
As stated in the previous hunter thread(s), fixed rotation does not work. You have to use whatever comes of cooldown ASAP and fill the empty spots with steady shots.

If you could post a WMO/WoL/WWS link to, say, Saurfang/Rotface/Festergut kill (or some similar singletarget dps fight) I could probably see what you're doing wrong more easily.

Hi,
I'm just taking the freedom to reply to this.
Are you sure you read every survival hunter guide?
If you did you would know your rotation is kinda bad, it should be a priorization like this:
1. Kill shot
2. Explosive shot
3. black arrow
4. serpent sting
5. aimed shot
6. steady shot
When you start a boss this will result in the following rotation:
Explosive shot, black arrow, serpent sting, aimed shot, steady shot, explosive shot.
When you did this keep explosive shot, black arrow and aimed shot on cooldown and keep serpent sting up. if everything is on cooldown and you serpent sting has enough time do some steady shots.

QFT. Replace aimed shot with multi-shot in case of multiple targets.
Don't clip your explosive shots when lock and load procs.
You didn't post armory and WMO/WoL/WWS links so I can't comment on gear and can't give direct advice what you might be doing wrong, but the previous 2 points are the most important ones - correct shot priorities and not clipping LnL.
And finally, just to remind everyone: There is no fixed rotation for hunters in MM/SV spec.
