Just wondering if hunters these days are using rapid fire during lust or if anyone has tested it. I use rapid fire during lust because i dont think clipping is a big loss in dps, unless my haste trink pops i do notice it more, i could be wrong. Should i save rapid fire when lust is not in use?

not stacking them is atleast what i've been told, but sometimes its necessary to pop RF during lust if the fight length is such that its the only way to get multiple RFs.
The idea behind hastebuffs afterall is to get out as many aimed shots as possible, and for every AI you need to cast 2x SS.
Which with 3/3 pathing and 1235 haste rating (+ISS+WF)
AI = 2.03s
SS = 1.40s
AI + 2 x SS = 4,83s for every cycle
During Bloodlust the same times are
AI = 1.56s
SS = 1.08s
= 3,72s
if you combine RF with Bloodlust times are
AI = 1.12s
SS = 0.75s ( clips so actually its 1.0s+latency )
= 1.12+2x1.0 = 3.12s
combining RF and BL gives you 0.6s faster cycle than simply bloodlust would.
now if you were to cast RF without any other hastebuffs your cycle would be
AI = 1.45s
SS = 1.0s
= 1.45 + 2 x 1.0 = 3.45s
which is 1.38s benefit per cycle compared to normal situation.
so atleast I would avoid clipping those steadys too badly and rather use biggest hastebuffs separately.
