Shaylee doesn't read these forums very often, but I think he's using pretty much the standard chimera > aimed+silencing > steady priority.
Festergut might not be a very good boss to compare dps on, since it depends so much on how many times you get puked on and what kind of positioning your raid uses. The time taken for the kill also matters, because if the boss dies before you get your second round of rapid fire etc you won't do as much dps.
Have you checked simulationcraft or the DPS spreadsheets on what kind of dps they estimate for your gear level?
