What is the up side for BM now? I have been looking at the teir gear and notice it leans to the BM spec..but would it be alright to stay surv/mm with this gear, or would that ultimatly defeat the purpose?

I play BM for fun, you can't compete with BM damage against MM and even SV is way ahead of BM.
BM is just more different to play if you compare it to MM and SV. just for fun.
