Hunter Pet

Hi,

I am going to first time pve and I chose the hunter class.
I could find about all information on the forums but I couldn't find this one.
What is the best raid pet and if there multiple please explain.
and with best pet I don't mean sec but cat, wolf, hippo, and so on.

Each pet family does the same dps, so cats, wolfs, and other ferocity pets do the same dps, same goes for cunning and tenacity

however in raids you should bring the pet with the ability missing from the raid, example if raid lacks the armor debuff, bring a raptor, or if raid lacks 4% physical damage increase, bring a ravager.
