Need help to do better dps

Looking for few suggestions

Here is my armory

I got all my gear to agil >> hit cap > 1265 haste , crit and mastery

My priority is as fight starts , Mark then serp - Chimera , rapid fire, readiness chimera, 2 steady, aimed/2steady until it Rapid fire goes off then rapid fire continue with 2steady and aimed dump

after that i am doing serp if it drops, chim , 2steady and arcane as dump

I also tried just dumping everything with arcane since the start of the fights and whenever there is BL/Heroism / rapid fire i tend to get focus capped very quickly with 1265 haste

What I am looking is
1) From this current gear how do I use femaledwarf (please suggest if there are any other simulations) to improve my dps
2) What should be proper priority if I want to continue using this gear. Do I ever have to use aimed unless it procs after this aimed shot nerf
3) Also changing my spec to 8/31/2 reduced my dps as per femaledwarf... can femaledwarf be wrong coz it cannot simulate a persons game play and his role during the boss encounter. If so what do I use femaledwarf (limitation in judging its numbers)

Hey kold

As far as i Know MM is quite hard to keep an rotation. I would say SS - Chim Shot - Pop Rapid fire - Spam Steady shot but keep your Chim shot cause it's almost a free shot and it does quite alot of damage. Once your Rapid fire is over you pop - Readiness, you go the same way spam steady shot but keep your Chim Shot on cd. Keep in mind if Aimed shot Procs you just go for that then just spam Steady shot again. When your rapid fire is over it's time for a little change in your rotation. Keep Chim shot up + keep spamming steady shot till your like 100 focus.

My oppinion then when your 100 focus you should go for 2 or 3 arcane shots. So your rotation after your 2nd rapid fire is done, is Chim Shot - Aimed shot (till 100 energy) - 2 / 3 Arcane shots - (possible proc of aimed shot) - chim shot (always keep this on CD). Then repeat this or atleast try because MM is really hard to keep your rotation.

Don't forget MM is a spec you play on your own feeling. You acutally do alot of dps on Chimaeron for a hunter at least.
Remember Survivel is quite ok as well if you want to keep your rotation Survivel is the goal you want to go.

I hope your something with this since my hunter is my alt at the moment.

For burst phase:HC a steady shot while countdown is happeneing, when it goes off, BAM straight in. RF/CoW, SS and AiS ONLY. Readiness, repeat, RF is off, apply your Serpent sting, Chim shot, and Arcane shot to oof.
THe rotation is then, SS-SS-SS-SS-SS-CS-ASx2 (AiS when target is above 80%).
Ez mode.

I did check out your armory and it was opposite as you said your statweights being?
You actually reforged more mastery and only having 700~ haste. If i were you id stick with this statweight:
Agi -> hit -> haste till 1350 -> crit -> mastery.

As far as the rotation goes i start with:
Pre pot -> Serpent String -> Chimera -> RF, CoW, Bloodfury -> Readiness -> 2x SS -> Chimera -> SS -> Aimed -> 2x SS -> Chimera -> 2x SS -> Aimed.
Mostly i dont like to use any specific rotation, its more like this: keep your sting up 100%, shoot Chimera every time it comes out of cd, When you are under haste effects (Bloodlust, RF, Prestor's talisman of machination) dump your focus with Aimed shots, you should be under haste effects whole first 20% so you get most out of your Careful Aim (ask your raid leader when hes about to call lust so you DONT stack your RF with Bloodlust). Under 80% dump your focus with Arcane shots. (if you are not under haste effects)

1) Simulation Craft
2) yes, you use aimed shots while you are under haste effects
3) its not so huge difference with 1 pt from bm -> sv anyways

Checked your Chimaeron logs, first thing popped to my eye was _LOW_ amount of aimed shots. Keep hardcasting aimeds with RF and BL

Yea I was playing with my gear reforging trying different stats. I am now

agil > hit 8.01 > 1354 haste > 28.20 crit > master 12.40

By the way , I;ve got ElvUI recently sill getting used to the change in UI. OMG! Best UI ever... cant believe that amount of memory that it uses for everything ..literally everything

Hi Devai and fellow hunters,

What glyphs are suggested with this spec. simulationcraft kinda gave BiS is rapidfire, arcane and steadyshot.. or rapidfire, aimed and steady

And spec - I have 3 One with nature and 2 Bestial Discipline -- Simulationcraft said - 2 - One with Nature and 3 Bestial Disp

I will use these simulations and try to play between these glyphs but please add your comments depending on ur experiences

Right now I have chim, steady and arcane.. which I believe is good since I am not dumping aimed but only during haste effects and above 80% but not sure about chimera and rapidfire
