The perfect rotation/perfect amount of haste

Hello,

A guild member and me calculated much with haste and the top DPS Rotation. We gained 3% haste from Pathing, 10% from Buff and 15% from SS procc.

So our first thought was: get a 10 sec rotation with ~+/- 0 focus at the end, so we need 5 steadys (5*9=45 focus), one Aimed and one Chimera. Rotation further infight: Chimera - Steady - Steady - Aimed - Steady - Steady - Steady - Chimera.

In this Rotation we get 85 focus without any haste. The perfect 10 sec rotation is gained with ... 100 Haste and T11 4 boni lol
so it looks like this: 31.312% haste from buffs, so we gain 5,25 fps * 10 = 52,5 fpr + 45 = 97,5 fpr (focus per rotation)

so we need 94 fpr and gain 97,5 fpr

Steady Shot Speed:
1.3708 sec. (31.312% attack speed bonus)

Aimed Shot Speed:
2.2085 sec.

rotation time:
Chimera, Steady, Steady, Aimed, Steady, Steady, Steady
...1s......2,3708...3,7416..5,9501..7,3209..8,6917..10,0625

So we have a nearly perfect 10 sec rot. with +3,5 focus every rotation, AND, if Aimed proccs, we get one second (5,25 focus) every second rotation, so we gain every 2 rotations 12,25 focus and we can shoot an arcane every 4 rotations.

BUT it is NOT possible to gain 372/379 iLvl, 4 piece T11 with only having 100 haste rating, so we thought about what to do. My Hunter pal mentioned, that we may reduce the steady shot to 1,2s, so that we can shoot 6 of them in one rotation and every 2 rotations we can release an arcane shot.
But putting the steady down to 1,2s needs 1937 haste rating, which is possible, but othe stats could go too much to the ground.

So what do you think on these theme?

There is no "perfect" amount of Haste.

Spreadsheets are for the most time not accurate. 1+ Haste will always be a DPS increase, never a DPS loss. How big the DPS increase is, however, varies.

For Survival, there is some "haste plateau", and that is 6.325% haste, that lets you fire three Cobra Shots inbetween your Explosive Shot.

Hello,

I think you did not read my post, because your answers are just nonsense.

Zeheras Hunter Spreadsheet is very accurate, and i calculated these things on my own, too.

+1 Haste has sometimes such a low combat rating, that everything else has more sense.

This was a post to the Marksmanshipspec, why do you answer with ... Survival?

And, there is definetive a perfect amount of haste, which gives you maxdps.

@ topic:

I've got another thought about the best haste rate, i will calculate it and post it.

1+ Haste will ALWAYS grant a DPS increase, NEVER a DPS loss.

Zeherah's Hunter spreadsheet is inaccurate in terms of Haste, it even states that.
