Assasin rogue, 40 atk power or 20 agillty.

Hello guys, i had an question.

since i see alot of assasin rogues stacking 40 atk power/20atk power 10 haste gems im verry intrested why we rogues dont chose for the 20 agillty gems since
Formula: 1 Agility = 1 Stamina = 2 Strength = .1% Crit. = 5 Defense = .33% Dodge = .2% Parry = .13% To Hit = 2 Attack Power = 4 Any Resistance = 5 Health/5 Sec. = 50 Armor .

i hope some 1 can tell me more about this!

Dunno if I've misunderstood your post, but since when did agility give stamina, strength, hit, resists or Hp5?

Also, the fact that agility gives defensive stats is irrelevant, since they wont be used by you as dps in a raid.

AP and AP+Haste gems give higher dps than agi anyway, that's just the way it is :P.

Short answer: Agility is worse.

Long answer: I'm not exactly sure where you pulled those formulas, but they have nothing to do with the dps value of the stat. They are more like policies for blizzard's item creation budget. Download the sheet in my signature and use it. Crit cap issues and poisons not scaling too good from agi have a lot to do with it.

For a rogue, agility is always preferable to strength.

That's pretty much what I'm saying. And it's true in most cases.

Should you use either of those gems? I think not. Refer to the sheet.
