As we know we use rupture for assass rogue to trigger the talent [veno wound] but do you use rupture after 5 como point or just like me treat it as slice and dice no matter what the points are, just keep the debuf on the target all the time for the higher dmg and energy restore, what do you think? i watched the video for maeil POV, and saw he always use 5-point repture.

It's optimal to rupture with the amount of combo points you have at the moment it drops off. It's not about what we think, it's about what's considered best by current estimates.

Pretty much what Rakez said, in Assassination 100% Rupture uptime is a must, even if you have to use it at <4 CPs.
However I have a question about Rupture in Combat. EJ guide says that using it is a 1% DPS gain, but isn't it a horrible loss in reality? I know Rakez got top1 on Chimaeron in Combat using ruptures, but looking at his log, Rupture averaged to be 25227 dmg per execution and Eviscerate was 33260 dmg per execution, with revealing strikes before most of them. Assuming he spent 5 CPs on everything, Rupture is clearly a loss in itself... and Combat doesn't have any talents that specifically interact with Rupture or bleeds.
I'd like to hear opinions on this.
Edit: I forgot to account for Bandit's Guile at first, but it doesn't seem to change anything. In Chimaeron log, an even proportion of Ruptures and Eviscerates were used under Deep Insight buff (3/8 and 10/25 respectively).

The advantage in rupture is that it's essentially free damage, while eviscerate always costs atleast 10 energy. The combo points / sinister strike damage you gain from that extra energy just barely outweigh the "loss" in finisher damage. In practice though I find myself having to skip rupture because I'm either capping on energy, blade flurry is on or deep insight isn't going to last long enough for the whole 8 ticks to do damage. Now I'm not sure whether it's a good idea or not, but that's what I'm currently doing :P
I'd like to see them add something to combat that would encourage the usage of rupture (think venomous wounds), as now it's completely reasonable to just skip using it completely and concentrate more on the fight mechanics instead. The ability to do that isn't necessarily a bad thing, but running an evi-only rotation isn't really that exciting or fun.
