I've been working alot on my rogue lately, and i just can't seem to be pulling what other rogues are pulling on parses, is this a gear issue? is my rotation off? any tips would be greatly appreciated

I usually don't bother searching through other people's armories or logs. Especially if they want me to first figure out what their rotation etc. actually was instead of telling me in their post =).

A good place to start would be going through what the assassination talents actually do. According to that parse you haven't used backstab even once, which you should be doing after the 35% mark (unless you forgot, but in that case you shouldn't really be asking :d). Go to the link in my signature and search the assassination faq there, it's a good thread which you should always check if the rotation or other basics are unclear. Chances are that the answer can be found in the first post.

Garrote > SnD > Mut > Rupture > Coldblooded mut > (mut again depending on ruth proc) > envenom , 1 - 4 rupture, 4 - 5 envenoms until 35% which i admit i did forget last night, but still, why am i behind all the dps on parses for assass rogues? simply because of backstab?

As I said, go to the guides in my signature. If you're already doing everything it tells you to then fine, the difference is probably from gear or situational awareness during encounters. If you aren't doing the optimal stuff, you will probably learn something by reading through it. There's really nothing to lose. The only thing that's "wrong" in the guide is that at higher levels of gear you should be using and gemming for relentless earthsiege diamond as your metagem.

I really can't see any benefit in me quoting the same stuff that someone else has already written somewhere else in a nice package. Especially after the source has already been linked in this very thread.
