Hello, Paragon.
I have some questions for the Death Knight's in your guild.
I'm Frost DPS Dual Wield specced.
Armory link : http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet ... ions+horde
The first problem is, when we start a boss fight and I always do the waiting time of 5 seconds.
But for some reason I always get massive aggro and I can't keep it under the tanks.
We got some really good tanks who can get aggro easy.
Is there any way to lower my threat?
Second Question, In ICC10 i do about 6 to 8k DPS, do you guys have any tips / hints on how to upgrade my DPS?
I use the priority list :
Spell Priority
Single Target
1) Killing Machine -> Frost Strike
2) Keep Frost Fever up
3) Keep Blood Plague up
4) Obliterate
5) Blood Srike
6) Frost Strike
7) Rime
8) Horn of Winter
Thanks for helping!
Greetz, Oxford. :)

you already talented into subversion and still have aggro problems?
Dumb question nr. 1: You don't use frost presence, do you?
Dumb question nr. 2: Are you sure about your tanks?
Dumb question nr. 3: Do you get tricks in the first several seconds of a fight?
Of course there is misdirection and tricks of the trade to build up inital aggro faster on your tanks.
If you ask about help with your damage you should provide combatlogs, just copy & paste the prio system doesn't help much ;)
And you could increase your damage with gemming your helmet and using epic gems in all your items.

Do the hunters and rogues in your guild have the sense to give Misdirects and ToTTs to the tank at the start? Because you getting aggro really shouldn't be happening. Sounds like some "L2P" issues with the tanks or like you need to have a chat with your rogue and hunter department.
Other than that, that priority list looks like it's copypasted from EJ. In a word, it's horrible.
In a nutshell: Use Glyph of Disease, Obliterate and Frost Strike. Apply IT+PS. Smash away with Obliterates. Use Rime procs if you're soon'ish gonna go out of RP otherwise. Use AMS every single cooldown to soak RP. Use KM Frost Strikes asap, but only as long as you're not going to go past RGP (Rune Grace Period). Use ERW at the start only if you're gonna get another one up at <35%. Swap SotHM to SoA <35% during a GCD. Get a decent proc monitor so that you know when to pop ERW - double procs and such give it a _massive_ amount of power.
Also, after checking your armory, you're horribly under the expertise cap. That's something you really, really don't want as frost; anything that'll give you a GCD for nothing hurts DPS by a ton. Every GCD should be filled with a damage ability.
You're also quite a bit over the 11% spell hit cap (assuming you have spell hit in the raid). Do note that spell hit and melee hit have a different value.
Swap your Sigil of Virulence to SotHM (once you get T10 first) and learn how to hit your buttons once every 15s so that it doesn't fall off. Only fights where it'll be "better" is LK during Frostmourne phase (at percentages where you should be using SoA anyway) and on Valithria. If it drops in rest of the fights, notice it and do it better next time.
What you're really gonna want to do though is get some badge gear first. It's not hard at all to get the previous T9 pieces for example by running heroics. Slap some gems on your sockets - half of them are empty. Try to put some effort into it. Otherwise it's gonna be pretty much moot.

You should also put tuskkar on boost instead of 12 hr + 12 crit(even dont remember how it calls).

Synti i have two questions (since they are about frost dps i thought i could just ask here too)
First one, I was wondering what trinket you think it would be better DC normal of WFS Heroic? or even the trinket from hallion, i currently use DC normal (been trying to drop for months WFS but LDW seems to hate me -.-) this for frost dps.
Second one, what do you think it would be better to focus on high end-gear as secondary stat, crit or haste? i've seen some frost dk's with str + crit gems on yellows socket and str + haste, but i'm still kinda confused what would be better for endgame, i was even considering getting some haste on gear and focusing crit on the gems so i could get a balance between both, anyways if you can help me i would be really gratefull :).
My armory: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-shee ... e&cn=Thwor
PS: Yes i know about my HORRIBLE bracer but no bracer drops to me at all i'm just cursed as hell lol.

If you have access to the Halion trinket, go for it. I'm fairly sure that even the normal version of it trumps everything else except heroic DBW (and obviously the heroic version of itself). I'm unsure if WFS is better than normal DC and honestly I'm just too lazy to find out. I doubt there's an overwhelming difference between them. I'd guess WFS is slightly better, but that's only if I had to. You're gonna want to check that one out for yourself.
As to crit vs haste, go with haste. If it's a decision between higher ilvl with crit vs lower ilvl with haste, go with higher ilvl.
You might also want to swap your meta for the +agi one, since it requires only one blue gem. With your Ashen Band, I'd definitely slap an orange there. Same with your gloves and cloak. Also if you can be bothered, engineering would be an excellent DPS upgrade over mining (and an awesome profession just overall - I love it).
I'm also personally not a fan of 1 point in CotG. Then again we almost never have druid healers. I'd love to do one raid where I'm just leaking out RP from every orifice I got. Sooo many empty globals.... 8[

Yeah i'm just too lazy to lvl eng before cata since it will be a pain in the ass to lvl jc without mining i even have some mats stocked i just did not had the time to being lvling it.
About the gems i was looking forward to change em before i quit, since i'm going back now i will make this changes, and so instead of str + crit gems i should go for str + haste right?
I like CotG cause without it i get so many empty globals (like you said lol) that i just feel like a lazy ass bastard, and since my raids normally had at least one druid i figure it would be nice to have at least one point, but i was always changing every week to see what would change on my dps, and i think with that point it just fits more my play style.
I really apreciate the feedback thx and keep on the awesome work.
