I just got the new Unholy specc with few talents on Frost, Is it better to use GoD then any of my glyphs?

hey Senathor, Using GoD is mathematically better than using say GoDD but then you have to ask yourself whether you are upto the job of using the glyph to it's upmost potential.
Do the rogues in your guild understand how ToTT work on DKs, and if not and they decide they do not wish to to porvide you with the buff then can you back yourself to use Cinderslacier on a secondary weapon to truly maximise GoD's potetial. With wither of the 2 buffs is when you will notice the massive difference in DPS.
Then you also have to think will you be able to keep the diseases up constantly, like i mentioned GoD is better but alot of it depends on the player.

P.S if the rogues do decide to give you ToTT make sure you dont get it staright away or you may over aggro the boss and cause a wipe lol with 0 points in Subversion. also it helps if they understand that you don't need to be spammed ToTT constantly throughout the fight , and only need it once during the beginning of the encounter.

Hello. I've been reading this DK section since it first started up and all your answers to these questions Synti. However, I am need of your help and thoughts. Because of this forum I finally got the balls and decided to try DW Frost. I can't believe the results. I know I am making ton's of errors in my priority rotation, but the damage out put is off the charts. So if I can manage to get my errors sorted out I should be in good shape.

It was said in this forum if posters wanted help they should come with prases so I come prepared. This was from my raid earlier tonight:

I really have no idea what the massive difference is between all three of those fights that my DPS would be skewed all over the place.

All three fights I used SotHM. The only massive difference I see between the fights were on Rotface where KM only proc'd 14 times, but that should not have resulted in such a low damage output.

One question is regarding KM and Rime procs. If I'm in the middle of my rotation and I get a KM proc should I automatically hit FS or should I wait for a dump phase and a Rime proc to hit HB? Their times in my rotation when I get KM proc, but OB is off CD and I'm stuck on FS or continue to OB?

My next question is regarding Empowered Runic Weapon. When is the best time to use this ability to help my damage? Same question, but regarding Blood Fury. I find that I'm using these cd's at the wrong time, but I'm not 100% sure when to pop them.

And lastly the final question: Is their an opening rotation that you use to provide maximum burst damage before reverting back into priority? Such as AotD, etc etc.

After skimming the log quick and checking your armory profile, it just seems you're not using your skills enough. I'm not too familiar with WoL interface (using WMO for our guild) - where's your pet damage? Gargoyle, army and ghoul? Either the interface is a bit unintuitive and you have to find them from some place, but I didn't see them on your total damage dealt tab. Did you use them?

In the Damage done Menu, next to his name there is an arrow, if you click the arrow you see all the pets he used an how many dmg they've done.
If you click the name of the pet you can see which attacks they've used, and there average dmg.

Helping out like this takes roughly ten times more time than replying to some discussion thread. I'm not going to go over every single log with a magnifying glass - you should check the basic stuff for yourself (ie, Sunders/Expose are up and whatnot.. basic stuff like this are missing every once in a while, or the uptime is bad).

With that said, you're missing a ton of free RP from AMS. This is pretty bad. Another thing is that you're not using Unbreakable Armor enough. Again, I'm not at all familiar with WoL - I can't find your pet damage anywhere. Are you using your ghouls? [edit:] After the hint about how to view pet damage, it seems like you aren't.

For ERW, you pop it when you have some kind of +damage buff or procs, as long as there's not a crucial part of a fight where you need burst.

For KM, FS/Rime whatever, feel free to use the procs up asap as long as you don't delay your runes. Use the RGP (Rune Grace Period) to your advantage. Rime isn't worth it unless you're going to run into a free GCD sometime soon (not a RP-heavy fight) or there's only one target.
