How to get your girlfriend to play WoW?

Iv'e been playing wow for about 5 years now and it's needless to say that's it's kinda an important part in my life. Now i was wondering how to share that with the other important thing in my life my GF.

Any tips or tricks on how to do that? Seeing you guys play a lot when there's new content out.

1. She should know that it is important to you and also accept it

2. You have to find the right time balance. Play a lot when new stuff is out = way more free time once it is on farm

3. Tell her Hunters and Warlocks have "Pets"... play together ;)

basically this is how i tell it to my gf, we are living together now all i do is tell her wen my raid days are and so she knows so she plans stuff to do on those nights and at the end of the day wow is no different to any other hobby if they dont like it then they know where the door is :) also i always say to my gf "what would you rather i was at home with you playing wow and raiding, or that i was down the pub drinking with m8s" lol that normaly works.

Well, I started playing WoW because my boyfriend introduced me to it.
But I already had a history of other MMOs and Warcraft itself;

I don't know if my opnion will count much, since I don't think that's the case of your girlfriend, but, it's kinda like introducing her to any other hobby.
Try to explain her the game, how it works, the classes and everything else;
Giver her as much support as you can; Give her some bags, money, itens, and a cute little companion pet will help as well (:
Show her that she doesn't need to actually play the game so seriously like raiding every week, or farming gear. You can play casually and still have fun;
Last but not least: pets/mounts&co! I mean LOOK AT THAT CUTE DINOSAUR! <3

My GF didn't like when I raided, so I told her that after every raid I will go down on her for 30 minutes. She now looks forward to raids.

True, there is actually surprisingly high amount of girls playing this game. Around 25% people I know (IRL) playing wow are girls what is pretty much in my opinion. Perhaps it will increases more in time. =)
