Hey people.
I'm a lv 80 fresh dk, i'm a newbie into raiding. I could really use some advice of veteran players about UIs, i figure this is the right spot to ask.
Need to improve fps since at some moments the game frozens at me, not good when you're in the middle of the mayhem. I've make myself my own UI by groping the addons i find indispensable, althogh maybe i could replace some of them by lighter ones. My list is:
-Titan(& so)
-SexyMap
-Carbonite
-Atlas(& so)
-ItemPriceTooltip
-OmniCC
-Omen
-DeadlyBossMod
-Faceroller
-Gatherer
-Xperl (this is heavy alright, but i feel it's a MUST HAVE)
I'll be grateful to hear your opinions and suggestions. If someone at Paragon could also adress me their UI it'll be terrific.
thx in advance ;)

I would highly recommend to moving on from X-Perl, its by far the heaviest raidframe. Grid is light and customizable, altough not as "pretty" as x-perl. Then again, as dps you dont need to know / see everything from the frames.

Titan Panel - Replace with FuBar. Why? Because it's so much better.
SexyMap: Fine, but do you really need it? If you do not, turn it off, avoid giving it a dynamic look, a simple square'd be fine.
Carbonite: Extremely heavy, and not so useful for when you are level 80.
Atlas: Avoid the map viewer Atlas, get AtlasLoot Enchanced.
ItemPriceTooltip: Useless, I can figure that such an addon eats your RAM.
OmniCC: Good, a must-have, actually, make sure you set it to tenths of seconds.
Omen: A must-have, again, configure it properly!
Deadly Boss Mods: Good, make sure to put the bars properly!
Faceroller: Not too useful, if you got brain enough.
Gatherer: Eats your RAM as well, only turn it on when you are, well, gathering!
X-Perl: Very simple, get Shadowed Unit Frames or Pitbull Unit Frames instead, much better, and lighter.
Get Recount or Skada Damage Meter, get Grid (I'd say Grid2, but you choose!)

I agree with most of what Nikorash said, but you should never ever use Pitbull if framerates are a concern. It's a crap ton heavier than Shadowed Unitframes for example.
Personally, I use STUF. Incredibly lightweight and extremely configurable.
You should just disable whatever you don't use while raiding. It takes only a few seconds to enable them again when you're not raiding. It's not much effort to do so, but will definitely improve your FPS while raiding when you're using "useless" stuff like SexyMap.

I'm optimizing as soon as i download the pluses. Also getting rid of what i should get rid of.
ShadowedUnitFrames, NICE addon, also lighter than it seems. I think i'm keeping its raid frames instead of grid's, after all i'm only into 5-10 man dungeons for now.
STUF looks amazing too; specially because its raid layout is superb, got to try them both to decide.
I do know how to play, but faceroller it's still useful sometimes, besides it's lighter enough to stay.
Do you think i really need Skada/Recount?
Thx a lot guys!
